We are a sub caste of the Kshatriyas and can boast of a rich heritage. Our origins can be traced to Saurashtra from where we spread across India, from Rajasthan to Tamil Nadu. The majority of us migrated to Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Traditionally, we were engaged in dyeing and tailoring.
